I agree, nothing new. I just think for black women in particular, when there are substantially less available partners, this is extremely difficult. Consider that women are under tremendous internal and external pressure to have children, and have a finite time to bear children in a healthy way. I guess I don’t see anyone addressing that “wait” in the AfAm Christian community. Just my thoughts.
